Arts and Music Guild Beginnings

In 2010, a group of artists met to discuss ways in which a new arts non-profit organization in North Texas could benefit the community.  Annie Royer and L.C. Tobey worked on the legalities,  board members chosen for their experience in non-profit management provided thoughtful advice, and that initial group of artists split the costs to pay for filing fees.  In 2011, the Arts and Music Guild received official 501c-3 status as an creative, educational asset in North Texas.
